A public beta version of the template editor for the ReMOTE SL MK2 (and ZeRO SL MK2) is now available form the Novation beta site.

This can be used to easily create advanced mode templates for the ReMOTE SL MK2 controllers and send them to and from the hardware.

● This Automap release updates the Novation SLMkII controller firmware to add enhanced support in Ableton Live 8.1.3 and above

Changes:
+ improved midi data efficiency into Live
+ updated Novation USB driver to version 1.7, Windows only
+ updated Ableton Live DAW Setup Guide
+ updated SL MkII firmware to version 1.2.05
+ updated Zero SL MkII firmware to version 1.2.04

Firmware changes, which requires Ableton Live 8.1.3:
+ touch sense, encoder and button LED feedback in Live template

It is recommended that users reboot their computer after the installation.

New Features:
+ Added Nocturn and Nocturn Keyboard support for Ableton Live. This will require Live 8.1.3 or later.
+ Support for VST3 plug-ins (both Mac and Windows)
+ Runs as 64 bit application including support for Logic 9.1.1 - 64 bit
+ Updated Windows Novation USB driver to version 1.9

Important Change:
+ Automap no longer adds user interface to the bottom of the plug-in; 'Add Automap UI To Plug-In' from Plug-In Manager has been removed.

Systems supported:
+ Mac: OSX 10.5.8 (Leopard - PPC & Intel) & 10.6.4 (Snow Leopard - Intel only).

+ Windows:
XP SP3 32 bit, Vista 32 bit, Win7 32 bit & Win7 64 bit

System no longer supported:
OSX 10.4 (Tiger) will NOT be supported anymore. It is recommended that OSX 10.4 users carry on using Automap 3.4.1.
