I am a writer/producer/remixer and live performer. I come from a classical music background with all the usual grades in piano and trumpet, with aspirations of a life as a concert pianist. However, when I first saw a synth those dreams went down the plug hole rapidly much to my mothers disgust. Remixing for the likes of Chicane, Ferry Corsten, Art Of Trance, Mogwai, Young Punx & released my own artist albums & 12″ under the names dba and tektonik. Most recently, after producing & co-writing ‘up & coming’ album Colour for Nettwerk artist Andy Hunter, we jointly jumped from the proverbial frying pan into the fire by taking on scoring the full score for & soon to be released big US film called Expelled which was literally a baptism of fire in the secret art of music to film.
