Automap 4.3 Release notes

- Added Reaper, Studio One, Digital Performer, Pro Tools LE and Logic Express 9 in Setup Wizard

- Revised Plug-In focus follow on screen option 

- Further integrated Automap into Ableton Live for Impulse users: there are now 2 modes for the PlugIn button, one for Live devices and one for Automap

Changes and fixes:

- Added HUI support for Reaper, Studio One, Digital Performer and Pro Tools LE in Setup Wizard

- Added support for Logic Express 9 in Setup Wizard

- Added 'Ignore HUI heartbeat messages' in HUI setting (only tick this box if you are a Reaper user)

- Added Automap mode to Impulse's Plugin button when using with Ableton Live

- Updaded Impulse Firmware to version 663, now the Plugin button has two modes when use with Ableton Live. Mode 1 (constant light): to control Live device, Mode 2 (flashing light) to control Automap enabled plug-ins

- Fixed Automap asking for password when launching on DAW on OSX

- Fixed VST3 not working when 'Follow on screen Plug-In where possible' is ticked (in the expense of Steinberg's VST3 plug-ins on screen rotaries not working, Windows only)

- Fixed VST plug-ins not auto focusing when using Sonar.

- Fixed track name not appearing after load a session with HUI in Digital Performer

- Fixed automap enabled VST3 plug-ins crashing or not loading in Studio One.

- Fixed bug when plugging and unplugging hardware continuously on OSX Lion

- Fixed crash when tracking up and down with Impulse 25 using Reason.

Known issues:

- Windows only, Steinberg's VST3 plug-ins on screen rotaries not working when wrapped, untick 'Follow on screen Plug-In where possible' option in Preferences.

- when using HUI with Digital Performer, moving fader 1 will also move fader 8 in the Automap GUI. This will not affect session in most case. This is caused by DP sending CC7 on channel 1 back to Automap everytime the first slider is being move

- AU plug-ins name will appear strangely in Studio One when wrapped. This does not affect the performance of the plug-ins.

- Fabfilter VST3 not recognised on windows systems when wrapped

- Waves 8 plug-in will not auto focus when wrapped or not wrapped

Additional notes:

- VST2 and VST3 plug-ins require a re-wrap for the new fixes to work (untick and retick in software setup window)

- If you have more than one DAW installed that uses HUI (Pro Tools, Reaper, Studio One and Digital Performer) the green light next to all of them will light up in the software setup window even if only one is setup with Automap.

IMPORTANT:
+ The Waves 8 features are not fully implemented, Waves 8 users are not advised to install this beta.
+ Logic users who previously used 'Automap Logic Mixer' should go to Logic > Preferences > Control Surfaces > Rebuild Defaults, to update Logic's mixer settings.

Remote SL Compact 4.2.03 release notes:
+ fixed keyboard sensing on some units

Known issues:
+ Some Cubase VST3 mappings may have unusual button types.
+ Presonus Studio One will not load automap wrapped VST3 plug-ins.
+ VST plug-in in Live with SL hardware will only display parameter name if plug-in GUI not instantiated.
+ Certain plug-ins running 32 bit bridge in Logic 9 may not appear as wrapped.
+ For Remote SL & Remote Zero SL users, the sustain pedal, expression pedal, drum pads & XY pad have fixed CC assignments to the designated automap MIDI output port
+ Fabfilter VST3 plug-in not recognised in certain Windows systems.
+ Waves H-delay, Morphoder, GRT Amp, GTR Stomp 2,4,6 and GTR ToolRack VST3 will crash upon instantiating if wrapped
+ Waves Morphoder appears twice in Plug-In Manager and cannot be uncheck after both version has been wrapped.
+ Automation do not write from hardware on Waves 8 AU and RTAS format
+ Cannot Learn Waves 8 AU in Live
+ Some buttons may not be translated properly to the UltraNova encoders.
+ Midi Client may crash upon quitting Automap after quitting Logic

OSX 10.5.8 (Leopard - PPC & Intel) & 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard - Intel only).

+ Windows:
XP SP3 32 bit, Vista 32 bit, Win7 32 bit & Win7 64 bit

System no longer supported:
OSX 10.4 (Tiger) will NOT be supported anymore. It is recommended that OSX 10.4 users carry on using Automap 3.4.1.
